Science
Have you ever had a composition notebook? The kind that are hard bound and black and white on the cover? I got one the other day as a gift. On the inside of the back cover there is printed a section called “Useful Information”. I thought to myself, “No way is this information useful for anything.” And for the most part I was right until I read this:
“1 cubic feet of water=7.48 gallons”—By itself, this is not an impressive statistic, but stick with me.
“7.48 gallons of water=62.425 pounds”—WHAT?
That is the preface for this post.
It says in Isaiah 40:12 “Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand?” Take a minute to think about that. How majestic is our God? That he can hold all of the oceans in ONE hand? Does that put you in your place? It probably should. If it is not clear enough he says, “the Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.”
The power and strength of God has humbled me today.
